Shortly after we were commissioned to write an animation series called Thommo's Trophies (which I also voiced).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Following on from this work I was taken on as a script consultant for the BBC Choice football entertainment show 45 Minutes, exec. produced by Andy Harris.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At around this time I was part of the writing team that contributed sketch material to the BBC2 animation series &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=monkey+dust&amp;amp;search_type=&amp;amp;aq=f"&gt;Monkey Dus&lt;/a&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWGTqcBVfHA"&gt;t&lt;/a&gt;, produced by Harry Thompson.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I wrote, produced and directed two radio dramas (Cab and Property for art radio station &lt;a href="http://resonancefm.com/"&gt;Resonance FM&lt;/a&gt;, just before I was taken on at BBC Radio Drama, where I was Producer for Special Projects.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My first script was "Next Stop Budokan", a radio drama which was shortlisted for the BBC's New Playwrights' Competition in 1995. It was subsequently optioned by a French Production Company. I developed a number of online projects for the football Website 365.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://thecityspeaks.blogspot.com/2008/03/what-is-city-speaks.html"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The City Speaks&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; was a cross-platform project consisting of 2 BBC radio dramas, a feature film and 6 collaborations between audio drama directors, script-writers and artist film-makers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This collaboration between &lt;strong&gt;BBC radio drama&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;a href="http://flamin.filmlondon.org.uk/news_details.asp?NewsID=1073"&gt;Film London&lt;/a&gt; was a highly innovative and ambitious multi-platform project and an experiment in the emerging world of visual radio, currently being pioneered at the BBC.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The film premiered at bfi Southbank (formerly the National Film Theatre) on Monday the 11th of March 2008. It has since been shown at various film festivals. The City Speaks was broadcast on &lt;a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/arts/thecityspeaks.shtml"&gt;BBC Radio 4&lt;/a&gt; and on digital TV (under the red button on cable, satellite and freeview) on the 19th and 20th of March 2008. The 6 separate films were available on the &lt;a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/filmnetwork/A33301784"&gt;BBC Film Network Website&lt;/a&gt; during March 2008.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.audiotheque.co.uk/"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold"&gt;The Audiotheque&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/a&gt;is a forum for new radio producing talent, created during 2006 after I came across &lt;a href="http://www.arteradio.com/tuner.html"&gt;Arteradio&lt;/a&gt; in France and &lt;a href="http://www.dradio.de/wurf/index.php/en/Home/Information"&gt;Deutschlandradio Kultur&lt;/a&gt; in Germany.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I contacted a number of UK Universities and met Rob Newman at Leicester De Montfort University where I gave a &lt;a href="http://www.radio.cse.dmu.ac.uk/audio/by/artist/conor_lennon"&gt;talk&lt;/a&gt; to students.
